Dear Mercedes-Benz Ponton owners,
By way of introduction, my name is Tom Bourdon. I have owned and driven a Mercedes-Benz Type 190 Ponton sedan since 1976. I am also the co-chairman for StarTech 2003.
StarTech 2003 is a national, technical convention being held by the Mercedes-Benz Club America. This event will be held on April 25, 26, 27 in Sacramento, California.
We would like to provide information about this event to the members of the International Ponton Owners Group (IPOG) and extend an invitation to all members to join us at the convention.
Seminars on many interesting topics are planned. Also featured as part of StarTech 2003 will be the NECAR, the fuel cell vehicle from DaimlerChrysler. The first 100 registrants will actually get to experience this latest technology first hand through rides in the NECAR.
Special low room rates at the elegant Hyatt at Capital Park in downtown Sacramento are available to attendees.
As part of the registration fee of $125 we also will include our Friday night reception buffet and Saturday lunch.
This event offers all Mercedes-Benz Ponton owners a fantastic opportunity to gather together. There will be ample opportunity to exchange information and to meet one another without having to re-invent the wheel and build an event. The hotel, rooms, luncheons and a place to meet are already done for you.

There is still time to take advantage of StarTech 2003 for the purpose of getting Ponton owners and lovers together in one room.
Favorable airline fares and our extraordinary hotel rate in the fabulous Hyatt Regency at Capital Park in Sacramento make this an opportunity to relax, learn, enjoy time away with friends and those who own and love the MBZ Ponton.
I am enthused by the early inquiries from International Ponton Owners Group (IPOG) members and hope to see some of you in Sacramento on April the 25th, 26th and 27th.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE MERCEDES-BENZ CLUB OF AMERICA TO JOIN US FOR THE FUN AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT STARTECH 2003 WILL PROVIDE.
We have added a limited Social Registration option to our event which, for the low, low price of $40.00 allows friends, and family members to attend the Friday evening reception and the Saturday lunch.
I am still looking for that one person among the Ponton Group who can champion this get together and become a "deputy co-chair" for StarTech and represent the International Ponton Owners Group (IPOG).
